London - A total of 36 sites that blatantly stolen credit card offer finally closed. It is said of the illegal action of the managers of these sites earned around Rp 7.4 trillion.
The whole site by the Serious Organised Crime discovered Agency (SOCA), which formed a special team of the British government to handle a variety of crimes, including investigations in cyberspace.
Until now British police have arrested two men who allegedly became a specialist collection of credit cards on the site, and how they stole was quite sophisticated.
SOCA team explained that they use a platform similar to online transactions in general, or also known as Automated Vending Carts (AVCs). Is claimed to be a very powerful way to collect thousands of credit card numbers in a short time.
As quoted from the Guardian, Sunday (4/29/2012), of the action was expected losses reached USD 500 million, or equivalent to Rp 7.4 trillion.
