Jakarta - Samsung currently dominate the mobile world. South Korean vendors are overthrew Nokia as the world's largest mobile phone manufacturer. They also come back to beat Apple in the smartphone segment.
Samsung surpassed Apple's smartphone sales in the first quarter of 2012, according to a study by research firm Strategy Analytics. This is triggered by the demand for Galaxy Android handset is quite high.
"Samsung's global smartphone shipments were up 253% from a year earlier to 44.5 million units, related to the demand of such Note Galaxy models, S2 and Y," said Alex Spektor, Associate Director at Strategy Analytics.
Apple alone sold 35.1 million units of smartphones in the same period. While Nokia just posted sales of 11.9 million smart phones.
Corresponding previous predictions, Samsung also became ruler of the global mobile phone market. Overall, the incorporation of the sale of Samsung smartphone and feature phone number of 93.5 million units.
